Hi, I’m Jovana.

I’m a graduate of the Algonquin College Animation program in Ottawa, Canada, with over 15 years of experience in the animation industry working as a designer, background painter, and colour supervisor on projects for amazing clients like Nickelodeon, Netflix, and Disney Junior.

Most of my personal artwork is inspired by the curiosity and awe of children and the wonderfully diverse creatures and ecosystems on our planet. I enjoy drawing charming vibrate illustrations suited for children’s publishing and kids products. I especially love adding little details for the viewer to find!

When I’m not drawing or working, I’m usually trying to cajole my family to play board games with me. Otherwise, I’m reading a book with a cup of coffee in hand. And, I’m about to turn 40, which inevitably means I’ll start bird watching soon.

I live in Ottawa, Canada with my husband, our two boys and an overly sensitive wheaten terrier.
